Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center, located in the Boulder County community of Lafayette opened in the fall of 2004.  This 202 bed facility with spacious private rooms and state-of-the-art equipment, reflects our focus on healing. Your Position

Evaluate patients, plan and implement effective occupational therapy intervention programs, and promote the practice of occupational therapy utilizing O.T. theory, sound judgment, and sensitivity to the patient’s needs. This position will work in the outpatient area, The Health and Healing Center, of Good Samaritan Hospital treating pediatric patients. Will work 16 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday day shift.

Our Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy
• Knowledge and theory of occupational therapy practice as necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned service area
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
• BCLS certification required or attained within two months of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
• One year related experience for specialty positions preferred
• Depending upon treatment setting, pediatric or geriatric experience preferred
