• Manage, coordinate, and integrate the process improvement activities and initiatives to facilitate achievement of organizational goals at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital using Six Sigma tools, Lean, PDCA methodologies and philosophy. Work closely with the COO, to customize and continually evaluate the Process Improvement program to the needs of Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in order to achieve and/or support organizational goals and strategies. This position is responsible for the establishment and monitoring of key business metrics, tracking and review of projects and integration of new process and quality improvement tools (i.e., LEAN, Design for Six Sigma [DFSS]). Responsibilities also include the development and implementation of communication and eduation/training plans to facilitate knowledge of Process Improvement strategy, tools and business practices across the organization, as well as, identify, leverage and share best practices with organizational stakeholders. Also inclusive is working collaboratively with theCOO, manage the Six Sigma and Process Improvement teams to identify and develop top performers as potential business/functional leaders for Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital and develop career plans for non-Six Sigma placements upon completion of requirements. Responsible for the fiscal/budget management within the Performance Improvement cost center. In addition, responsible for managing the human resources within the department.

REQUIRES:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in
Business/Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Master Black Belt certification and experience with various process improvement methodology.
• Demonstrated competence in Quality Improvement in a healthcare setting.
• Results driven with proven process oriented and problem solving skills.
• Experience with planning and executing strategic change.
• Ability to translate strategic directives into action plans and synthesize high volume of data, input and metrics into meaningful focus area.
• Demonstrated mentoring, coaching and leadership experience.
• Strong team player and business change agent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
